NOIR, it is the name of an ancient fate, two maidens who governed death, to the depths of hell's fire their black souls lure the lost children. NOIR, it is the first anime series that I have ever seen. It is the series that started my adventure into anime. For me, it was the intriguing mystery that got me hooked. The storyline does start out a little slow, but it makes up for it in the end. The characters are very dynamic. Animation was well done. Overall a very great series and I would recommend to just about anyone. My favorite character is definitely kirika. The blond girl (name can't be spoken) was just there. Her skills were not that great. If it wasn't for kirika, she would have died very early in the series.

Well, I really don't know what to say about this one. I definitely liked the mystery that surrounded the series. The main character was a little on the whimpy side. It had decent animation, but the end of the story was horrible. I know that there have been remakes of the end of the series, but I am not going to watch them. It was definitely a let down. The last two episodes where a collection of poorly animated sequences that made no sense whatsoever. It was supposed to represent the project to cause mankind to turn into goo, and thus all the minds were intertwined at the end. Weird to say the least. 

    Overall, not a bad series. I liked the action in it. Somewhat similar to My Otome with similar characters. Slightly different story lines. Interesting plot with some minor but predictable twists. I thought that the use of Mai's child was an interesting ploy. Overall, it was a favorite of mine. I always like the series that has a long developing theme througout, but gives you enough action during the episodes to keep you interested.

Bleach, bleach, bleach, no it is not a household cleaner (AV guy you don't know what you are talking about). I must admit, it drew me in. It was a little weird at first, but then it took off, and I have been enjoying it ever since. The only episodes that I didn't like were the Bonta arc episodes. I mean really, Ichigo took a big step backward for that one. Anyways, the series is still ongoing, hopefully they can maintain the good storyline and have fewer fillers. I hate fillers.

Well, I have seen all the current episodes of Shippuuden. I definitely like it. Finally, they let Naruto have some skill. Hopefully, the series will continue be good. Of course the one thing that I dislike, is having to watch 10 episodes to see the conclusion of one battle.

Well, I have finished the 220 episodes of Naruto and I have begun watching the Naruto Shippuuden. The Naruto series was good, but the fillers just got annoying after awhile.

Just recently I have started watching Naruto. So far, it is not bad. There has only been a few bits of recall, hopefully, it will not get any worse. That has to be one of the worst drawbacks to the Inuyasha series. Inuyasha was a good series, but the amount of review that was put into it just went way beyond ridiculous. I will continue to watch Naruto until I decide whether I truly like it or not.

I just finished watching this movie for about the 100th time. I, of course, had to watch it with the Japanese audio. I just don't really care for the English versions. The English voice actors don't seem to do a very good job.
One of the nice things about the movies is that you don't have to have watched the series to totally understand the movie. The movie does a brief synopsis of what is going on which also incorporates some brief clips of the 1st and 2nd episodes (if memory serves correctly, I believe the episodes are called The girl who overcame time and the boy who was just overcome, and The seekers of the sacred jewel).
As with the series, the animation is good. It has a good story line. I hated the use of the butterflies. The main question appears, why would a person be scared of a butterfly as when Kagome screams and ducks when the butterflies fly toward her. Another thing is that Sesshomaru really had no role in the movie so why did he make an appearance. Maybe to tell the audience that Kikiyo is dead or just to be eye candy for the ladies. I am not sure which.
I enjoyed the character development between Kagome and Inuyasha escpecially when Kagome is forced home. Then again, the movie is called affections touching across time or love that transcends time so it would follow that the subject of the love that transcends time should be a highlight of the movie.

Well, I finished the entire series of the fullmetal alchemist. Overall, it was a very good series. It had some interesting plot twists howbeit predictable. It had some interesting character development and good designs. At some points, the animation seemed a bit childish, but that is to be expected in any anime series. The major downfall with this anime is the ending. I definitely did not care for the ending. I know that the movie ends the series and I have seen the movie (more in an upcoming post). I still did not like how the series ended or the ending of the movie.
